You have (some) responsibility... but likely not as much as you'll have as you get older. Kids, stressful jobs, mortgages...you get it.
You can try new things...and not be afraid to fail. So what if you're a bad hairdresser? Or you suck at corporate banker? You tried it and now you know so you can move onto bigger and better things.
If you fail... you can start again. I'm a firm believer that you can reinvent yourself... no matter what your age, really.
You don't know where your life will lead... and there's some beauty in that. We're so quick to want to have it all figured out, but there's something mystifying about what we don't know.
You're defining yourself...and that's fun! You're a work in a progress, but discovering your true passions is such a rewarding journey. And, sometimes, it takes some experiences we don't enjoy to find this.
You don't have to be afraid of what makes you "you"...do you love to read? Cook? Play 'Words with Friends?' Whatever it is that makes you happy ... do it. It's not about what others think... it's about what makes you happy.
You're finding your true friends...and you're finding the undeniable value in the ones you hold close. Situations change, friends and romantic relationships come and go...but you start to understand the people you want to keep in your life. The best part of it all? It's your life...and in your 20s, you call the shots.
