I met my now fiancé on a Monday night at a local bar after meeting online at Plenty of Fish and talking for two weeks.
I knew her profile said she was 5’2” but didn’t really put it together (I’m 5’10”)
So I show up to the bar and she's already there sitting at the bar on a high stool.
She’s wearing blue jeans with cowboy boots and a t -shirt with a zip up hoody over it.
I walk over to officially introduce myself and give her a hug hello.
A drink or two into the fun evening we are having -- talking and getting to know each other better -- she says she has to go to the bathroom.
She gets off the stool next to mine and sinks down so far my eyes widen in disbelief.
She cutely walks away from me and I think, “Damn, she really is short”.
Little did I know that one fun night would turn into four years of laughs, love and fun.
Short she maybe but filled with love she is. Now I tell everyone who says someone's not they're type...don’t let the “small” things get in the way of “big” love! Clearly “your type” isn’t working out for you, so take a chance on something different and new. Who knows...maybe that special someone will become your type.
