Kosher Pareve and less than 90 calories in a 3.5 oz serving, Chloe's is free of fat and the 8 major allergens, making it a safe dessert choice for the food-sensitive or health-conscious, not to mention the perfect end to a delicious meal.
Chloe's was sweet enough to send us pints in three different flavors - banana, mango and dark chocolate. They also sent us several of their Soft Serve Fruit Pops, which are currently available for order or delivery online and will be accessible on shelves throughout the country come Spring. With only 60 calories per pop, and 13-15g of sugar, these pops are a refreshing alternative to the traditional sugary and artificial ice pops we see on ice cream trucks and in stores.
Though I loved all three flavors (dark chocolate & banana make for an especially nice combo) my favorite was the mango, which was juicy and delicious, like digging into the real fruit!
Chloe's pops and soft-serve fruit (abbreviated SSF) are best enjoyed after thawing for a couple of minutes.
For my first tasting, I ended up mixing all three flavors, as you'll see below. I added a handful of organic blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, as well as coconut flakes and some sliced almonds for a crunch and added protein. The outcome: utterly delicious.
Be sure to visit their website or give them a follow on social media -- @chloesfruit on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook - for more pretty pictures and inspiring assortments. If you're in New York, pay a visit to their Union Square location for more flavors and delicious toppings. There, you can also try some of their yummy sundaes, like the Raspberry Ripple, served with pretzels and melted chocolate. Can you say yum?
