Some of these, along with insomnia, a morning HR 5-10 BPM (beats per minute) too high and a negative attitude towards training, might also be a sign of overtraining. Overtraining is never recommended, as it results in too much damage to the muscle, and sacrifices muscle tissue itself for catalyst synthesis This can occur as a result of too many total sets, too heavy of a weight used or too little recovery time between workouts. The goal is always controlled damage to the muscle.
All trainers should advise their clients to obtain physician approval before beginning a work out regimen.
