- 3 full spoonfuls of greek yogurt [I used a large dinner spoon to measure]
- 2 dashes turmeric powder
- a handful of organic, frozen pineapple
- ice [if you are using a Nutribullet, fill the bottom so that the ice is about 1 inch thick]
That's it! If you make this, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It was tangy and sweet, but not overbearing. If you stay away from dairy [which I normally do, aside from yogurt] you can replace the Greek yogurt with a dairy-free milk, like almond milk, soy milk or coconut milk. I tend to like the consistency of soy milk in smoothies because I find, at least of the packaged milks that you find in the store, it's more dense than the others. I can't say that a home-made almond milk wouldn't have a thicker consistency, though, because I have yet to make it! Speaking of, that sounds like a great project for a rainy day.
