With that being said, my stint as a blonde was fun. (And no - I didn't feel any less intelligent.) It was funny to see people do double takes when I walked in the room. And to hear guys think the new color was "hot." It made me realize that beauty is so much less about what others think and really about what you think. You have to feel good in your own skin. Day by day, I think we're all working on that.
Anyways, my hairdresser (Jeanette <-- definitely see her if you're on the Island and happen to visit the salon because she's a color queen) drew my attention to how dried out my hair had become due to the lightening. (Bleaching your hair really strips it of its natural, healthy oils.) She told me I need strong conditioning products to take care of it. When I looked at her hair, and how beautiful and healthy it was, I realized I'd take her advice seriously. She told me to stick with really quality products and reiterated that you don't need that many -- just a few that really work. She also told me to stick with products from the same line. So here's what she recommended; products I used to use and was really happy with. I searched all over the map to bring you guys (and myself) the best prices...since I'm about to press "Buy" right now.
