Soften your Lips
Want softer, more kissable lips? You can apply a natural lip scrub before bedtime that will help to exfoliate and soften your lips. In a small cup, add a splash of olive oil and sugar. The consistency should be similar to that of a body scrub. Add a couple of drops of peppermint oil and mix it together. Apply in a circular motion to your lips in order to exfoliate. Then spread on Vaseline after exfoliating to moisturize the delicate skin on your freshly exfoliated lips. This combination before bed will make your lips smoother than ever by the time you wake up.
Smooth Rough or Dry Feet
If your feet are dry or cracked, there is a simple overnight trick that will fix them: wear cotton socks to bed. Apply Vaseline to the soles of your feet before putting on a pair of cotton socks. The socks will hold the moisturizer against your skin to help nourish it.
Brighten Stained Teeth
Coffee drinkers rejoice! If your teeth are stained or you’d like to brighten your smile, try brushing your pearly whites with baking soda before bed. Simply dip your toothbrush in baking soda and brush your teeth for 5 minutes. The particles actually polish the surface of your teeth and when mixed with water, can help to remove stains. This is a perfect beauty treatment to do before bedtime because normally you would have to wait 50 minutes before eating or drinking afterwards. Repeat no more than 2 times a week.
Volumize your Lashes
At one point or another, we’ve all purchased faux eyelashes to make our lashes look fuller. However, there is a method to get longer, thicker lashes naturally. Before you go to bed, wash your face clean of makeup, especially around the eyes. Apply olive oil to your lash line with a cotton swab before bedtime and incorporate this into your nightly routine. Within 8-12 weeks, you should experience noticeably longer, thicker lashes!
Repair Split Ends
Whether your hair feels dry from too much heat styling, or windy, winter weather, you don't have to wait for your next haircut to get rid of split ends. For shinier, softer locks, smooth coconut oil onto your hair before bedtime. You can wear a shower cap to bed to hold in the moisture and to prevent oil getting on your pillow. This is one of the best methods to treat hair because it’s natural and free of alcohols and other chemicals, which can damage your hair.
